Welcome to the home of Northern Virginia Soccer Club (NVSC), the club resulting from the merger of the Mid-County Soccer Association (MCSA) and the Manassas Area Soccer Association (MASA).
Royals Home Opener Special at Fairfax HS
May 17th Youth Admission Package Presented by Farrish Subaru
The Northern Virginia Royals, in conjunction with Farrish Subaru, are pleased to announce admission to the May 17th home opener will be free to preregistered youth fans 16 years of age and under.   Continuing their commitment to youth soccer development in Northern Virginia, Farrish Automotive is sponsoring the first round match of the U.S. Open Cup as the Royals face the Vermont Voltage at Fairfax High School, Fairfax, VA.  Match time is scheduled for 7:00PM.
 
In order to receive free youth tickets to the home opener, interested fans must register via e-mail by sending a list containing names and ages of those youths planning on attending.  Tickets will be held at the will call gate and distributed on game day.  Free admission registration e-mails must be received prior to May 17th.  Registrations must be sent to royalsgm@novafc.org..
 
The Northern Virginia Royals and Northern Virginia Majestics also announce two additional youth group ticket specials for the 2008 season.  Opportunities to participate in a pregame youth match and also serve as ball boys or ball girls will allow for teams to gain free admission and more.  Click ’Continue’ for details.

FREE NVSC / MaxTouch Soccer Academy
Training for the Spring 2008 Season
Adding another week of Max Touch Training...due to rain outs earlier in the season we will be adding one more week starting next Monday...please click on continue to see schedule.
 
NVSC in conjunction with MaxTouch Soccer Academy is offering FREE training sessions on the following days. The coaches have been asked to have the training session as one of their practice days.
 
Please make sure you download the MaxTouch Soccer Academy waiver form, this needs to be filled out by each player and turned in at your first training session.
 
Training sessions will take place at Hellwig Park on the Front Field 2 in front of the sheds and Ben Lomond Park on field #19 on the following days, we are listing age groups and all sessions will be coed (click continue for dates and times):

Heading into its third year of the deal, United Soccer Leagues and Sprinturf reaffirmed their partnership that makes Sprinturf an Official Supplier and the Official Turf Supplier of United Soccer Leagues.
 
USL’s Northern Virginia Majestics (W-League) and Royals (PDL), along with their local youth club affiliate, the Northern Virginia Soccer Club, are the latest organizations to contract with Sprinturf. Groundbreaking on the new field in George Hellwig Memorial Park in Prince William County, VA will begin later this month.

Sprinturf designs, manufactures, installs and services artificial turf systems that look, feel and play like natural grass – but are safer and far more durable. In addition to providing athletic surfaces, Sprinturf also offers a variety of other synthetic turf products for playgrounds, landscaping, golf greens and tees and recreational areas.

NVSC now taking Travel Coach Applications - NEW

Interested in being a NVSC Travel/Select Team Coach for the Fall 2008 season?  Then please click here and you will be taken to our Travel/Select Team Coach Application.  Filling out this form and hitting submit will send your application to our Travel/Select Director Sonny Barrickman...Sonny will contact each applicant.

We are looking for U9 Boys and Girls coaches for the Jr. Royal 99 and Jr. Majestic 99 teams, also if you are interested in starting a team for an older age group you would apply the same way.

NVSC Ray Reid Boys Elite Soccer Camp
NVSC will be sending two to three boys teams to the University of Connecticut to participate in the Elite Level Camp of Ray Reid School of Soccer in Storrs Connecticut.  We will be looking at adding a girls camp next Summer during July 2009.
 
This is a camp designed to provide players with exposure to numerous college coaches while developing and learning what it takes to play at the college level. Sessions are run by division 1 and 2 coaches from the east coast.
 
NVSC will select a U-14 age group and two 9th to 11th grade teams.   The goal is to have each team consist of a roster no less than 13 players.
 
Tryouts for all those interested will be conducted at the end of May. Training to prepare for this camp will be provided by Hans Etienne an NVSC Staff Coach and Varsity Boys soccer coach at Stonewall Jackson High School.  (please click on continue for more information)
