World Cup Soccer Fest: Celebrate the Beautiful Game!

Join us at Hellwig Park on Jun 19, 2026, for a full day of soccer, community, and excitement at the World Cup Soccer Fest! Whether you are a competitive player or a fan of the game, there is something for everyone as we celebrate the global spirit of soccer.  3 v 3 Tournament is slated to start around 9am.  Festivities on Field 6 to start 10am and run through the start of the 3pm USMNT game start time.

3v3 World Cup Tournament | 9AM – 1:30PM (Timeframe might change)

Gather your team for our fast-paced, coed 3v3 tournament! Divisions range from U9 to U14. Test your skills in short, high-energy matches and compete for the championship.

• Registration Details: Interested in entering the 3v3 tournament?
  • Team Cost: $195.00
  • Roster: Minimum 3 players, maximum 6 players
  • All Teams are coed, boys and girls welcome on the same teams
  • Age Groups: (For this tournament we wil be using Birth Years to form the teams)
    • U9 (2017)
    • U10 (2016)
    • U11 (2015)
    • U12 (2014)
    • U13 (2013)
    • U14 (2012)
  • Limited Spots Open for Teams
    • Looking for 4 teams in each age group
    • But if necessary groups can be merged together or we might take more than 4 teams per age group.
    • Registering early is a good idea, a parent or coach must register the team.  Payment is necessary to consider the team fully registered and considered for scheduling.  If we can't fit your team into the tournament then a full refund of the $195.00 tourney fee will be processed.

Skills Challenge Zone | 10AM – 2:30PM (Timeframe might change)

• Optimize your game at our professional skill stations:
• Soccer Mini Golf: Navigate a target-based passing course on Field 6
• Target Shooting: Take your best shot on full-size goals at Field 6.
• Juggling Competition: Show off your freestyle skills and compete for the top spot.

Festival Fun | 10AM – 6PM (Timeframe might change)

• Beyond the pitch, enjoy a variety of activities for the whole family:
  • Interactive Fun: Huge LCD screen broadcast, bounce houses, and cornhole
• Food: Local food trucks and Kona Ice will be on-site
• Pro Club Activations: Meet and greet opportunities with representatives from DC United and the Washington Spirit.  Times during the day will be announced closer to the event.
