Each team that participates in the Battlefield Tournament sponsored by D.C. United is highly encouraged to attend the opening ceremony. This ceremony will be hosted at the Potomac Nationals Stadium. Potomac Nationals Stadium will seat 7000 attendees during the ceremony each team will be announced and enter the stadium.  Come hang out with the D.C. United Players, obtain autographs, interact with the D.C. United Street team and Talon the Mascot.

During the Opening Ceremony D.C. United will host a skills competition. The skills competition will consist of juggling, dribbling obstacle course, and a free style competition. Each participant in the skills competition will receive a D.C. United award. Winners will receive a D.C. United Prize Pack. Food and drink will be available to purchase on site.
