The Northern Virginia Soccer Club is announcing the start of the tryouts for the 2024 - 2025 seasonal year.   For the upcoming season, NVSC is offering a chance for an Early Identification (ID) of players as well as traditional Tryouts.     Early ID sessions will allow NVSC non-travel and non-NVSC players to get an early look from our coaches.  Once signed up, our TDOC, or assistant, will be in touch to schedule a session concurrent with our evening training sessions.  All players, Early ID or Tryouts, must register through the website.  Registration for NVSC Travel Tryouts is Free of charge.

The NVSC Travel Program is open to all soccer players interested in competing at the highest levels of soccer with a development path from U8 through U19.  We offer premium practice and game facilities staffed by highly qualified and licensed coaches. Our program offers year around training, supplemented with elite tournaments, college combines, and friendlies.

Our Travel Early ID Sessions and Tryouts are FREE; Register online at www.novasc.org. Each player is recommended to attend each session of tryouts. If a conflict exists with a tryout date please email tryouts@novasc.org.

 

LOCATION: Tryouts will be on Hellwig Park Turf Fields, 14424 Bristow Road, Manassas, VA 20112, as you enter the park just keep on the park road all the way back to the back turf fields (GOOGLE MAPS). Check in located at the NVSC Clubhouse near Hellwig Park Field 6.

 

CHECK IN: Please arrive 30 minutes before your first scheduled tryout session, we will begin check in at that time and you will receive your tryout number.  You can place those numbers on the front of your shorts.

 

ATTIRE: Please wear a white t-shirt (current NVSC travel players wear your black training kit) and with appropriate soccer attire.

 

EQUIPMENT: Make sure to wear shin guards and bring a ball and water bottle.

 

SELECTION PROCESS: Selections will be sent out via email within 48 hours of your last ID session or tryout.  If you don't hear from the club within 7 days please reach out to the Technical Director of Coaching Hans Etienne @ hans.etienne@novasc.org

 

WEATHER: In the event of inclement weather, announcements will be posted on our homepage (www.novasc.org) and our Twitter handle @soccernvsc.  We do have additional rain dates and those will be activated if needed.
