NVSC Travel Uniform Information

Xara is the supplier of travel uniforms, All Star Sports is the retailer that we order our uniforms, warm ups, bags etc from.

When ordering multiple pieces, complete team orders please make sure the order goes through your team manager.

For team uniform orders please download the NVSC Uniform Team Order form (excel file). Then please email it to our travel uniform coordinator, Tracey DiNofrio at traveluniforms@novasc.org. Tracey will look over your order for any problems and will email you back with whether if you can take your order into All Star Sports or email it to them using allstarorders@comcast.net. Please wait until you hear from Tracey before sending your order to All Star Sports.

All location and thread color for embroidery has been worked out with All Star Sports and will be consistent through the club on all warm ups and bags ordered. Please do not ask for variations.

Warm ups will be numbered on the back of the neck in gold, the NVSC logo will be over the heart on the front of the jacket. Nothing will be on the pants, please use a marker and mark the inside tag with the jersey number.

Bags will have the NVSC logo and jersey number embroidered on the front of the bag.

All prices include the embroidery charge.

NVSC Travel Uniform Policy

NORTHERN VIRGINIA SOCCER CLUB

Travel Uniform Policy

The Northern Virginia Soccer Club (NVSC) is striving to project a professional image. Every player/team

shall adhere to the following match uniform policies. Only official NVSC Xara uniform sets shall be

worn.

Field Player Match Uniform:

Primary match uniform is Gold Jersey, Blue Match Short and Blue socks for all season matches/

tournament and any play under the NVSC name. If there is a color conflict requiring NVSC teams

to change the alternate Blue Jersey shall be worn along with Blue Match short and Blue Socks. The

approved NVSC Logo must appear the front of the uniform, standard placement would be the upper left

chest area. Any alternate of the logo location must be approved by the Executive Board. Number style

shall be as directed by NVSC.

*As of Fall 2011, the NVSC Executive Board has a uniform agreement with Xara to wear the Hawthorne/Challenge/Elite style

uniform; no other vendors shall be allowed. The Board may change/adjust the approved uniform kit as

it deems necessary. The Board should only approve changes due to Xara style changes or major failure

on the part of Xara.

*Transferring Teams: Must comply with the uniform policy as a condition of their acceptance into

NVSC. Transferring teams must be outfitted in NVSC uniforms prior to participation as an NVSC team.

Exceptions will be addressed by the NVSC Executive Board on a case-by-case basis.

*All NVSC Head Coaches will receive Xara Polo free of charge. It is expected that this shirt will be worn at

all events where they represent the Northern Virginia Soccer Club.

**The Club’s Executive Board members are also required to comply with the Coach’s uniform standard

above. The Executive Board will be outfitted by the Club.

*For Safety reasons, absolutely no names (first or last) are allowed on uniforms

*Failure to comply with this policy:

*All reports of Uniform Policy Violations will be forwarded to the Vice President of Travel.

*The Vice President of Travel will forward findings to the Executive Board for resolution.

*The Northern Virginia Soccer Club may impose penalties on teams that fail to comply up to and

including suspension by the Club.
