NVSC Travel Tryout Registration is now open for all Fall 2012 - Spring 2013 NVSC Travel Teams. There is no cost to tryout for an NVSC Travel Team but you must register.

Girls Tryout Dates: May 29th, 30th and 31st with a rain date of June 1st

Location: Valley View Park--FIELD #4 11930 Valley View Drive, Nokesville, VA 20181 (link to directions)

Time: 7:00PM - 8:30PM

Check In: Please arrive to the field about 15 minutes early to allow for check-in at your designated field (schedule below). You will pick up your tryout number at the pavillion each tryout night, numbers will be pinned to the back of your shirt. Numbers need to be turned into the coach after tryouts each night.

What to Bring: Make sure you bring a ball, water and wear shinguards. Also, all players should attend at least two tryout nights. We provide three tryout nights to make it easier to work with your schedule.

Weather: In the event of inclement weather, announcements will be posted on our homepage (www.novasc.org) and reschedule dates may be announced but with three tryout dates available that might not be necessary. If you cannot attend either session, please contact the coach via email.

Selection Notification

Girls’ coaches will begin to contact players on Monday, June 4th. Rosters will be posted by tryout numbers on Wednesday, June 6th.

The Northern Virginia Soccer Club (NVSC) Junior Majestics ’98 are a Premier rising U14 girls travel team (born August 1, 1998 or after) coached by Dana Bowie (USSF C licence) assisted by Carlos Guerrero. Our coaching staff coach the teams with an emphasis on developing the individual player to their fullest potential focusing on developing the creative individual player. The girls utilize above level tactical knowledge while using the techniques they are developing. The Junior Majestics train year round and hold practices 2 to 3 times a week and offer a weekly optional skills training day and weekly goalkeeper training, all at no additional charge. The Majestics compete at the highest level offered at tournaments and play in the Washington Area Girls Soccer League. We hold tryouts by appointment and are currently looking for 1-2 quality field players.
