Spring Season: Starts the weekend of April 2, 2017. (The league will not play Memorial Day weekend, May 28) Estimated completion date is June 4, 2017.
Fall Season: Starts the weekend of September 10, 2017. (The league will not play Columbus Day weekend, October 9). Estimated completion date is November 12, 2017.
This division is open to both men and women 18 years of age or over. The games are played on Sundays at Valley View (http://www.novasc.org/resources/field-information/valley-view-park). Games last for 90 minutes with a 5 minute half time. Teams will play 6-7 games plus an end-of-season tournament. Kickoff time vary between 9am – 5pm.
Because this is a Coed Division we require 4 women on the field unless both teams agree to play with 3 women before the start of the game.
A copy of the Coed bylaws can be found under "Bylaws & Forms". The bylaws provide a detailed list of rules governing play. There may be a few minor changes to these rules prior to the start the season.
Captains are responsible for the management as well as setting the roster for their team. Each season the captains reach out to the league commissioner and registrar to fill gaps in their roster. I cannot guarantee placement on a team but encourage that you register online. Under special request please put “Waitlist.” You will be placed on a team in order of registration. If you have already spoken with a captain please put the team name under special requests. Early registration is $110/player prior, after early registration there a $15 late registration fee applies (Deadlines are listed on the registration site).
If you would to start a new team please let me know (Fred Weller - email@example.com). We will work with you on becoming a Captain. As a Captain you play free but would be responsible for the management of your team. We have two Captain Meetings a season one about 2 weeks before the season and one meeting at the end of the season.
