NVSC Academy
The Northern Virginia Soccer Club (NVSC) announces the formation of an Academy program for player development. This program will offer year-around advanced training for youth soccer players. The objective of the Academy is to develop a pool of players for future participation in the NVSC Travel program. 
Acceptance into the program is a commitment for Fall, Winter, and Spring participation.  To kick-off the Academy, for the Fall 2008 season, youth players, male and female, ages U7 through U9 are eligible for participation in the program.   Players interested in participating will register with the Academy in addition to the House League registration. 
 
The goal of the Academy is to identify and train a pool of players at an advanced level in preparation for future participation in the NVSC Travel program starting at U9.  For the 2008-2009 seasonal year, U9 recreational players are also invited to participate to improve their skills for possible addition to an existing NVSC Travel Team and / or formation of additional NVSC Travel Teams.
 
Training will be led by MaxTouch Soccer Academy in conjunction with NVSC Staff coaches along with Northern Virginia FC Royals and Majestics coaching staff.

Winter 2008 - 2009 NVSC Academy
Registration Underway
The NVSC Winter Academy (U6 through U12) will start in early January with indoor sessions at MaxTouch (Woodbridge, VA) and Total Sports (Manassas, VA).  As in the Fall, training will be provided jointly between NVSC Staff and MaxTouch Soccer Training Academy Staff.  One addition for the Winter will be a Manassas-based indoor location (in addition to the Woodbridge facility).   U7 and U8 Players can register at either facility, depending on geographic preference -- training / trainers will be the same at both locations. U6, U9 through U12 can only participate at the Max Touch facility.

The Academy will kick-off on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at the MaxTouch facility, time will be in the afternoon and will depend on registration numbers.

U7’s and U8’s at the Total Sports facility will start on Friday, January 16, 2009 as follows:

Training will end the week of March 15th, 2009.  To register, fill out the form below and follow the instructions sent to you by email after you submit the form.
 
Cost will be $130 per player, payment information will be sent in an email after you submit the application below.
