U7 to U12 Age Group Fee is $70.00 for the Fall 2009 season. You will need to purchase a NVSC recreational uniform for $27.00. The last NVSC recreational uniform was only good for the Fall 2008 - Spring 2009 seasons so you must purchase this new uniform to play in the Fall of 2009. This new NVSC uniform will be able to be used until the Fall 2011 season.

Players registering after that date will be assessed a non-refundable $15 late fee and may be placed on a waitlist.
NVSC RECREATIONAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registrations cannot be considered complete until all fees, including late fees and other applicable special assessments are received, or other outstanding financial obligations are met. NVSC reserves the right to refuse any registrations received. Receipt of payment does not constitute acceptance of a registration on the part of NVSC, but a desire of the applicant to participate. All players must have proof of age on record with NVSC. Lacking proof of age may result in non-placement on a team.
Important Dates:
· Open Registration: 18 May 2009 through 25 July 2009
· Late Registration: 26 July 2009 through 12 September 2009
· First Game: 12 September 2009

· Practices begin: week of 1 September 2009 (Coaches determine practice schedules and locations)
Team Formation: Teams are formed by age by District. Where possible, separate boys and girls teams will be formed (except in the U4, U5 and U6 divisions). NVSC U14 and older teams play in the Suburban Friendship League (SFL).
Special Requests: NVSC cannot guarantee to grant any special requests, such as placement on a specific team, under a specific coach, practice times or locations. You may indicate days of the week that your child is unavailable to attend practice; however, NVSC will not guarantee placement on a team that does not practice on those days. NVSC will place siblings or family members in the same household on the same team if their ages permit doing so.
Practices: Practices are held throughout the Manassas area at numerous school and park sites. Teams may practice up to two times a week and usually start at 5:00 or 6:00 PM. Requests to change teams due to conflicts with the practice days/times/location will not be accepted.
Game Schedule: Games are scheduled for Saturdays at Ben Lomond Park or Hellwig Park or other fields within the NVSC area as needed, starting at 9:00 AM. Rain-outs are rescheduled by the recreational directors.
All Players – Proof of Age Requirement: Proof of age, such as a birth certificate, is required of all new players. Returning players will be required to provide proof of age if NVSC does not have this information on record. Lack of proof of age can be grounds for non-placement on a team.
Travel Player Prohibition: Carded travel players are prohibited from participating in the NVSC Recreational Programs.
Surburban Friendship League (SFL): Many of our older age groups have very few teams, which makes it very difficult and unrewarding playing the same teams over and over. Therefore NVSC’s U14-U19 Leagues play in the SFL. The SFL is a league comprised of teams from other area Clubs which are in the same predicament. There is a minimal amount of traveling involved, but this is a Recreational League, not a "Travel" quality league. All NVSC teams will have a minimum of 4 home games and a maximum of 4 away games (sites such as Warrenton, Haymarket, Woodbridge, Fairfax , Centreville, etc).
